Lumber Core Hardwood Plywod is the most common hardwood ply in our area. It is made up of a softwood core and thin hardwood veneers. It is available in 1/8", 1/4" 1/2 and 3/4" thicknesses. In our area birch, cherry, maple, and oak are common plywoods available but good lumber stores will stock many other species as well.
