Common Name: Walnut, Black

Description: This is one of the more prized domestic hardwoods. This dark wood is very easy and enjoyable to work. The dust of walnut is said to be an irritant. I would tend to agree. When using power tools on this wood I do recommend wearing a mask and using a dust collector.
